Center of Excellence visits Jost Van Dyke

On Sunday 12th June 2005 a group of players from the Tortola Center Of Excellence traveled to Jost Van Dyke to play in an Exhibition Football game against Jost Van Dyke, Diamonds, a Department of Youth Affairs and Sports showcase of the youth. Present were the Chief Minister, Dr the Honorable Orlando Smith, Minister of Education, Honorable Lloyd Black, Deputy Chief Minister Honorable Ronnie Skelton and other dignitaries. The player from the center of Excellence included Nichael Chambers, James Felix, Kimone Mills, Miriam Waterman and John Waterman from the Althea Scatliffe Primary School, Thomas Bridgewater, Kiron Branch and Trevor Jones from Cedar School and Joshua Hayles from Montessori. Center of Excellence won the game 7-2 with Nichale Chambers, Trevor James and Thomas Bridgewater with 2 goals each and John Waterman 1 goal.
